Hi Prof. Feril! I heard a lot of wonderful things from you. I am Mr. Zaldy Alima, a faculty member of Jacinto P. Epa National High School in Tandag, Surigao del Sur. Current I am taking a diploma course here in Nagasaki Tropical Medicine, Nagasaki University. A close friend of yours, Mrs. Lorita Derigay, a teacher from STC who is now in Jacinto P. Elpa told me that I should communicate with you as soon as I arrive Japan. I was figuring out ways to contact you until I found this site. I just learned that you are working in Fukuoka as a University Professor and researcher. She farther told me that if I get contact I will be learning a lot from you. I read some abstracts of your paper and I am really impressed. I am also into research but just new in this field. Well, you could someday become my mentor. I have one week left here in Nagasaki, the course will end on November 10, 2012. Hope to hear from you soon. Nice meeting you Sir!

hello dr. feril..gud day to you sir.! i am roselle tabuyan, stc publication moderator..i greatly appreciate you so much as a person, a man who is a symbol of success, and especially for you being our commencement speaker just this March 15, 2009. Your speech greatly inspired not only the students (the graduates) but also the entirety of the stc family and every person who happened to be there..i really love that line of yours saying that you were once a kid who dreamed to go to the moon but landed in the land of the rising sun..i significantly can relate to that line..i was once also a kid who never dreamed to become a teacher but at the end, i become what i never dreamed to become and be able to succeed in some sense..in lieu to this sir, i would like to ask for an e-copy of your speech to further inspire a lot of people, even beyond the corners of saint theresa college for we aim of printing it for the school's publication paper and for the 2009 the theresian yearbook..thank you so much sir..god bless..

good day Dr Feril...i am garce navarro a 4th year cte students of saint theresa college. to tell you honestly i was impressed, amazed when Dr eleobido told us bout your great sucess...and lukily we are thnkful enuf to be our comencement speaker last 03 15 09. i am hoping to meet you in person and to be able to share with me your ingridients in making your success a tasteful one. bout your website, as a theresian iam inspired in pursuing my dreams that someday i want to be like you, who hve great couragae in facing whatever i want in my future. god bless you always..thank you so much...

hi sir, im Tine arreza....a 4th yr student of STC.. honestly i was not able to witnessed and heared your speech during the commencement exercise here in stc however ur messege touched my life because mam ida and my friends shared to me ur inspiring and down to earth message to the crowd.
im also happy after knowing dat ur a san miguelnon (may ka babayan) who struggles much to reach ur dreams....thk u sir for inspiring everybody amd reminding us that poverty in not really a hindrance to reach our success. Have a nice day and may GoD continue to shower his blessing so that you can also continue ur purpose and mission in lilfe.

good morning Mr.Feril im glad to hear from my schoolmates who had just graduated last march as well as from mam aida that you came from Saint Theresa College....your achievements inspires me to pursuit my course....imagine!!!!tga STC niadto but now naa n s japan and not only an ordinary worker grabe hanga jud q nmo sir how i wish dghan p haod nmo o mahaod so that those people who were discriminating STC ma bo-le cla hehehehe sir gud luck n lng to all of your journeys in life....by the way i am baby jane fernandez a student in teacher college department....

like you i am also a full blooded theresian.I first heard your name when i was in my junior years here in STC through Sir Lamb Plarisan my adviser because he wrote an article about you which is " A Theresian in the Rising Sun" in our school paper ..I was indeed pleased upon knowing that you will be the commencement speaker of this year's college graduation..I said to my self that at last I will be able to see the man who bring honor to STC and surely did I. I was around during the graduation rites and listened eagerly on your speech..that your have to dream and make that dream a reality..i even quoted with what you said that its your first time to stand before a crowd of graduates and with the sun as your spotlight..hehehe..
i would like to say thankyou for being an inspiration to everybody..like you sir i have so many dreams in life that i want to fulfill and achieved, and the first step is finishing my tertiary years by next year hopefully with flying colors.
I am doing my very best not only for my family,to the community but for myself that someday somehow i will be able to meet my father and he will be proud of me that though he was not around that i was raised by my grandparents in a way that he wanted to.
